Narendra Narotama - speaker

Narendra is a drug demand reduction specialist with over 20 years of experience in clinical services, programme leadership, and policy development at both national and international levels. With a background in architecture and a master’s degree in Islamic Business and Management, he brings a unique interdisciplinary approach to addressing public health challenges. He has led initiatives in drug prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation across Indonesia and Asia, working with government bodies, civil society, and international partners. 

As a global trainer and speaker, Narendra is known for translating scientific knowledge into culturally responsive practices. His work includes managing local, regional and global programmes, as well as the development of guidelines and training curricula. He currently serves as Drug Demand Reduction Programme Officer with UNODC Indonesia, supporting the implementation of the UNODC Family Skills Programme and the UNODC-WHO Programme on Drug Dependence Treatment and Care.
