Building on the success of previous ISSUP conferences, the 2025 ISSUP Regional Conference will bring together addiction professionals from various countries, including healthcare providers, government representatives, educators, NGOs, and international organizations. This diverse gathering will facilitate the exchange of expertise, foster collaboration, and drive the development of effective strategies for prevention, treatment, and recovery in the field of substance use and addiction.
Hosted by ISSUP’s Indonesia National Chapter in partnership with the National Narcotics Board of Indonesia (BNN) and ISSUP Global, the conference will take place in Bali from 17–19 September 2025.
This year’s theme spotlights cutting-edge addiction science, innovative approaches to prevention and treatment, and sustainable solutions for long-term impact. As nations grapple with increasing addiction rates, emerging psychoactive substances, and rising behavioral addictions, the conference will serve as a critical platform to strengthen skills, share evidence-based practices, and advance global cooperation in drug demand reduction.
