Introduction

Inter-GLAM is a European project, co-funded by the European Union’s DG Justice Programme "Drugs Policy Initiatives - Supporting initiatives in the field of drugs policy” (JUST-2019-AG-DRUGS). The project aims to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to elaborate on global perspectives and trends shaping addictions and drug markets, and will co-produce a strand of the 4th European Conference on addictive behaviours and dependencies (LxAddictions22, 23-25 November 2022).

INTRODUCTION:

The Czech Republic records one of the highest prevalence levels of obesity in comparison to other European and world countries. The present study aims to fill a gap in the use of tools in research of food addiction (FA), which is believed to be one factor in the high prevalence of obesity.

METHODS:

A pen-and-paper study was conducted using a nationally representative non-clinical sample of 3950 adolescents aged 11–19.

RESULTS:

BACKGROUND: The Czech Republic has a long tradition of methamphetamine use. Less is known about the circumstances of initiation into its use at the level of individual users. The Annual Meeting will be held on March 2-5 2022, and is currently scheduled to take place at the Edinburgh International Conference Center in Edinburgh, Scotland.  

The SRNT 2022 Annual Meeting may be a hybrid (part in person, part virtual) or entirely virtual, depending on how things play out in the coming months. A final decision about the meeting format (face-to-face hybrid virtual component vs. entirely virtual) will not be made for some time.
