The Developmental Risks of Second-Hand Smoke among Young Children

A new study published in Indoor Air: International Journal of Indoor Environment and Health(link is external) has found that the more children are exposed to household tobacco smoke during early childhood, the more likely they are to show anti-social behaviour towards others. Professor Linda Pagani, who led the research project, suggests that the association “should encourage policy-makers and public health professionals to raise awareness among parents about the developmental risks of second-hand smoke exposure.”
