Abstract:
Background
Substance use disorders (SUD) is a global health problem. Approximately 3.3 million people in Indonesia age 15-64 were use drugs (BNN Prevalence data,2023). Drugs problem management continues as an effort to develop holistic, integral, and sustainable rehabilitation arrangements for substance uses disorders, prioritizing professionalism, dedication, and responsibility. Policies and strategies are needed to protect and save the community from substance use disorder in Indonesia.
Purpose
This presentation will convey the implementation of policies and strategies of Deputy for Rehabilitation BNN through strategic goals and targets, program and activity determination, as well as indicator achievement and evaluation monitoring. In 2024, the sustainable rehabilitation service capability index reached 3.49, categorized as Managed. Meanwhile, regarding quality of life improvement, rehabilitation service recipients experienced improvements across four domains: physical, psychological, social, and environmental.
Methodology/Approach
This presentation explains how improving substance use disorder recovery efforts through comprehensive and sustainable rehabilitation services is achieved through strategic objectives: encouraging the improvement of rehabilitation service facilities according to standards, improving human resource capabilities, and increasing access to community-based rehabilitation. The performance indicators are the Sustainable Rehabilitation Service Index Assessment and Improving the quality of life rehabilitation service recipients.
