We are excited to share that our recent Asian National Chapters meeting took place in person in Bali, Indonesia on August 16th-17th, 2024.

We are excited to share that our recent Asian National Chapters meeting took place in person in Bali, Indonesia on August 16th-17th, 2024.

Representatives from ISSUP Afghanistan, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam participated in this event, providing updates on ISSUP developments in their countries. Together, we brainstormed strategies for National Chapter development, discussed the ISSUP Regional DDR Plan, and explored future cooperation among countries offices.

  Trauma can be defined as the psychological distress following exposure to a traumatic or stressful event (Westhuizen, 2019). The way in which people respond to such an event is variable and can present in many different ways.
