The EMCDDA and the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) are pleased to open registration today for two upcoming joint events in 2021: the European Drugs Winter School (EDWS) and the European Drugs Summer School (EDSS).

The National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC), University of Sydney have announced new postgraduate research opportunities for students interested in alcohol and other drug research.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM 

Since NDARC's inception, more than 80 students have successfully completed a higher degree research (HDR) program at the Centre (PhD and Masters), with a success rate of over 90%.

'PhD: addicted to research' is a podcast created by PhD students funded by the Society for the Study of Addiction and is for anyone doing a PhD or thinking about doing a PhD.

The presenters of the podcast are all at different stages of their studies, from starting off to writing up, and will release a podcast every 2 weeks.

In the episodes, they discuss their experiences and fears about going through 3 (and more) years of study. They also interview experts to get the best tips and advice for making it to the final graduation ceremony.
