Quality Assurance (QA) organizations play a vital role in upholding the quality of substance use disorders treatment (SUDs) treatment services by continuously assessing them against a set of standards. These organizations can include inspectorates, accrediting bodies, government ministries, regulators, funding bodies or registration and licensing agencies. ICQ collaborates with QA organizations to enhance and advocate for quality assurance in SUDs services through a peer-led process for obtaining ICQ's Quality Seal Award.
The Quality Seal Award is bestowed upon a QA organization that has conducted quality assurance activities in SUDs treatment services, adhering to a set of prescribed standards and criteria outlined in the "Guidelines and ICQ Standards for Quality Assurance Organizations to Apply for ICQ Quality Seal" (referred to as the “Guidance Document”).
