O Irã, localizado no Oriente Médio, tem uma alta taxa de consumo de opioides e diferentes padrões de uso de drogas. Neste webinar, apresentaremos a epidemiologia e as tendências do uso de metadona, buprenorfina e tramadol no Irã, bem como os impactos negativos do uso de opioides prescritos na saúde, como toxicidade e mortalidade. Esta apresentação foi baseada em três revisões sistemáticas publicadas e discutiu o significado e as implicações de seus achados.

Mid-America Addiction Technology Transfer Center (MATTC) partnered with the Ethnic Communities Opioid Response Network in Missouri, the Addiction Policy Forum, and the Opioid Response Network (ORN in IA, KS, MO, and NE) to translate 5 different evidence-based prevention products "Prevention of Opioid Use Education Materials"  into 12 different languages, and ensure they are culturally appropriate, including Arabic, Bosnian, Burmese, Dari, French, Mandarin Chinese, Pashto, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog (Filipino) and Ukrainian.

The European Web Survey on Drugs1 collected data during March and May 2021 from people who use drugs, are aged 18 or older, and live in 21 EU and 9 non-EU countries including Lebanon. In this period, the populations in many European and neighbouring countries were experiencing COVID-19-related lockdown or restrictions.
