Профессионализация трудовых ресурсов и память о Джеффе Ли

Shared by Goodman Sibeko - 21 марта 2025 r.

Europol (2025), European Union Serious and Organised Crime Threat Assessment - The changing DNA of serious and organised crime, Publications Office of the European Union, Luxembourg

Europol’s EU Serious and Organised Crime Threat Assessment (EU-SOCTA) 2025(внешняя ссылка), published today, reveals how the very DNA of crime is shifting – reshaping the tactics, tools and structures employed by criminal networks.

The EU-SOCTA offers one of the most thorough analyses conducted on the threats posed by serious organised crime to the EU’s internal security. Based on intelligence from EU Member States and international law enforcement partners, this report not only analyses the state of organised crime today – it anticipates threats of tomorrow, providing a roadmap for Europe’s law enforcement...

Background
Early identification of alcohol problems is important for timely intervention. The Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) and its shorter version, AUDIT-C, are widely used screening tools. This study tested the effectiveness of recommended AUDIT and AUDIT-C cut-off scores in a hospital setting in Denmark.

Methods
From February to April 2023, data were collected from 300 patients at Odense University Hospital. The study tested AUDIT cut-offs (≥8, ≥16, ≥20) and AUDIT-C cut-offs (≥4, ≥5) against Danish low-risk drinking guidelines and self-reported alcohol dependence...

Background

Drug use trends among youth change rapidly, making it difficult for experts to respond quickly. Delays in addressing these issues can lead to preventable health problems and deaths. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need for better strategies to respond quickly and fairly using existing treatments and prevention efforts. Evidence-based interventions (EBIs), like the Michigan Model for Health™ (MMH), are already effective in tackling emerging drug problems. However, we need to improve how these strategies are implemented to better respond to new drug trends. This research aims...

The UNODC #ScaleUp Initiative is a vital response to the growing global challenge of stimulant use disorders, which affect millions of individuals worldwide. In 2021, approximately 78 million people used substances like amphetamines, cocaine, or ecstasy non-medically, with stimulant use ranking as the second most common drug use worldwide. However, effective treatment options remain limited, with significant gaps in both access and equity, particularly for women. In response, UNODC launched the #ScaleUp initiative during the 2024 Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) session to scale up combined...

INTRODUCTION: According to Brichcín (1999), a self-regulating person is someone who can resist the temptation of immediate gratification of their needs and is capable of achieving challenging goals. Self-regulation represents the ability to make free and responsible choices and actions in relation to oneself, others, and the environment, in spite of deterministic influences. In real life, this relationship may also be reflected by the quality of mental health and engagement in risk behaviors during adolescence (Jessor & Jessor, 1977). The aim of the present paper was to investigate the...

INTRODUCTION: Longitudinal prevention research in adolescents often involves sensitive data collection, necessitating anonymity. Self-Generated Identification Codes (SGICs) have emerged as a tool for linking anonymous data while preserving privacy, but their effectiveness, especially in large-scale studies, remains under-explored. This study aimed to assess the feasibility of using SGICs for linking anonymous longitudinal data in a school-based substance use prevention study.

METHODS: We utilised a three-armed randomised control trial design, utilising data from the Czech Unplugged Study. The...

INTRODUCTION: Parental technoference (PTF) refers to the behaviour of a parent who looks at the screen of their smartphone (or other electronic device) instead of their child’s face during parent-child interaction. The parent’s inattention to the child disrupts adult–child reciprocal trust and warmth, negatively affecting the parent-child relationship. The parent may also unconsciously convey to the child that they are of low importance. Additionally, given that children lack awareness about what is right and wrong in relation to screen use, frequent PTF may lead to the establishment of bad...

Oi, pessoal!
