VOA reports on the first seizure of fentanyl in Myanmar, raising concerns that a new route is opening up for the powerful synthetic drug. Additionally, the article highlights the production of crystal methamphetamine in the Shan state. Also seized in recent raids were heroin, opium, guns, lab equipment, and 39 different chemicals.

Introducing a project run since 2016 by the Preventive Education and Training Unit of the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board of Sri Lanka. This project is called "Sujatha Daruwo" or "legitimize children" in English. 

Project delivery used Universal Prevention and Treatment curriculum (UPC/UTC) teachings and children developed their knowledge, competencies and skills as preventive educators and peer mentors within their communities and wider society.
