Juneau Youth Services

Help us create promising futures for Alaska’s youth!

Since 1961 Juneau Youth Services (JYS) has been empowering youth, engaging families and encouraging communities to create healthy futures for Alaska’s youth and families. We are now growing our outpatient and community-based services divisions and are looking for limited and fully-licensed therapists.

We are offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus for licensed therapists to provide outpatient and community-based services including family therapy, youth/child individual therapy, school-based therapy and crisis resolution for youth aged 3-21.

Licensed therapists start at approximately $60,000 annually with paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance benefits. We also provide generous retirement benefits and pay for licensing fees and CEUs. The starting salary may be more, depending on years of experience.

Unlicensed therapists (Masters of Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage & Family Therapy) are encouraged to apply. Unlicensed therapists start at approximately $50,000 and receive all of the same benefits, plus weekly supervision for licensure, and financial support for testing and licensure expenses.

Individual’s relocating to Juneau are eligible to receive assistance associated with their move.

If you are interested, for more information please contact JYS by email at jobs [at] jys [dot] org or apply now by downloading an employment application from the JYS website http://www.jys.org/admin/careers/.

Applications can be returned to Human Resources via email jobs [at] jys [dot] org, in person (2075 Jordan Avenue Juneau, AK 99801) or via fax (907)-789-8401.
